Online Thrift: App Design

Online Thrift is a sustainable fashion app that makes buying and selling second-hand clothing simple, enjoyable, and secure. The goal was to create a seamless experience that encourages users to shop consciously while transforming their closets sustainably.
User Experience & Flow.
The UX strategy focused on making the platform intuitive for both buyers and sellers while reducing friction throughout the user journey.
Key Focus Areas:
Onboarding & Access: Users can sign up or log in using email or social media for quick and easy access.
Home & Discovery: The home page displays suggested items and a categorized search section for effortless browsing.
Item Interaction: On each item page, users can view detailed product info, post comments to communicate with sellers, and either place an order or save items to their favorites.
Shopping Flow: Users can manage their cart, remove unwanted items, and apply promo codes before completing purchases.
Selling Items: Sellers access a dedicated listing page to upload images, enter details, and specify size, color, and price before publishing.
Profile Management: Users can view their shop, favorites, and saved items, as well as edit personal info and customize their profile.
Visual Identity & Interface
The UI design brings the sustainable and stylish brand identity to life while keeping the interface clean, modern, and approachable.
Key Focus Areas:
Branding: Colors, typography, and icons were designed to evoke sustainability and friendliness.
Interface Design: High-fidelity screens for browsing, item detail, and listing pages prioritize clarity, usability, and visual appeal.
Interaction Design: Subtle feedback for actions such as adding items to the cart or favorites improves engagement and reduces errors.
Consistency: The design system ensures a cohesive look across all screens and devices, balancing aesthetics with usability.
